Geburtstag oder Alter: 40 Jahre

Land: Ich lebe in Bukarest, Rumänien, auch bekannt als die einzige Stadt auf der Welt, in der man von einem dummen Autofahrer getötet werden kann, wenn man bloß auf dem Weg zur Arbeit ist.

Lieblingsgetränk: Kaffee. Ohne verwandele ich mich in einen Zombie und fresse dein Gehiääään.

Was machst du in deiner Freizeit?
Normalerweise banne ich Neulinge bei Death FM. Ansonsten liebe ich Computerspiele, in erster Linie Baller- und Rollenspiele. Wenn es wirklich mal keine nervigen Neulinge geben sollte und ich nicht in Stimmung bin um zu Zocken, lese oder sehe ich Dokumentationen. <Sarkasmus> Außerdem mag ich es Black- und Doom-Lieder zu wünschen, die andere Leute anpissen. </Sarkasmus>

Welches Auto/Motorrad fährst du?
Keines. Der Verkehr in Bukarest ist der reinste Alptraum, deswegen habe ich auch keinen Führerschein gemacht.

Was für einen Job hast du gelernt oder übst du gerade aus?
Ich bin ein selbst erlernter Software-Entwickler. Das bedeutet, dass ich ein entsprechendes Abschlusszeugnis habe. Des weiteren heisst es natürlich, dass ich Programme schreibe, über die Andere sich aufregen können.

Was macht dich glücklich und was bringt dich auf die Palme?
Glücklich: Das weiß ich nicht genau, es gibt viele Dinge die mich glücklich machen. Darin enthalten sind Metal-Konzerte, Katzen, wenn meine Arbeit hilfreich für den Endkunden ist und in Projekten mitzuarbeiten die diese Welt verbessern.
Unglücklich/Wütend: Heuchlerei, Lügen, Ungerechtigkeit, Mißbrauch jeder Art und das Gesundheitsystem, Tyrannen, Anfänger, besitzergreifende Leute, den Verkehr in Bukarest und Leute die ihre Wagen auf der Fußgängerzone parken, so dass Fußgänger auf der Straße laufen müssen um voran zu kommen.

Welches war deine erste Metal-Platte und woher hast du sie bekommen?
Oh, das war lange her, also bin ich mir nicht sicher ob ich mich recht erinnere. Ich glaube es war ein Manowar Album, vielleicht das “Kings Of Metal”. Es war kurz nach der 1989er Revolution hier, als es viele kleine Läden gab die Kassetten verkauften.

Welche Scheibe hat dein Leben verändert und warum?
Burzum – Filosofem. Es war das erste Stück Extrem-Mertal, das ich jemals gehört habe. Die Welt eröffnete mir unerwartet eine neue Dimension.

Was war dein erstes Konzert?
Leider war das erst vor zwei Jahren. Die Band, die ich sah war Lacrimosa. Es war ein glorreicher Abend dafür, dass es ein Lacrimosa-Konzert war. Es war regnerisch und es war in einer Art Arena ohne Dach. Gemeinsam mit einem Freund stand ich ganz oben auf den Treppenstufen der Arena, wo wir vom Regen sicher waren. Als der Regen aufhörte erstrahlte ein Vollmond durch die Wolken und ich fühlte mich wie eine Fledermaus, die auf eine komplizierte Feier in einem Schloß eingeladen wurde.

Welche Metal-Richtung verfolgst du?
Das sind zwei: Black Metal und Doom Metal (in erster Linie Funeral Doom).

What do you do in your free time?
Usually, I ban the noobs at Death.FM ;). I also love computer games, mainly shooters and RPGs. When there are no noobs and I'm not in the mood for gaming, I'm reading or watching movies and documentaries. <sarcasm> Oh, and I love to request black and doom songs that piss people off. </sarcasm>

Which car/motorcycle do you drive?
None. Traffic in Bucharest is everyone's worst nightmare, that's why I didn't even get a driver's license.

Which profession do you follow up or which job have you learned?
I am a self-taught software developer. That means I'm a high school graduate. It also means that I write computer programs to give other people have something to swear at.

What makes you happy and what drives you up the wall?
Happy: I don't know, there are a lot of things that make me happy. Those include metal concerts, cats, when my work proves to be really useful for the end-user, participating in projects that may make this world a better place to live in.
Mad: Hypocrisy, lies, injustice, abuses of all kinds, the health system. Bullies, noobs and possessive people. The traffic in Bucharest, people who park their cars on the sidewalks blocking them so that pedestrians have to walk on the road.

Which was your first Metal-Album and how did you get it?
Heh, that was a long time ago, so I'm not sure if I remember correctly. I think it was a Manowar album, perhaps "Kings of Metal". It was shortly after the 1989 revolution here, when there were a lot of small shops selling cassettes.

Which album changed your life – and why?
Burzum - "Filosofem". That was the first extreme metal thing I've ever heard. The world suddenly revealed an extra dimension.

Which was your first concert?
Sadly, it was only about two years ago. The first band I ever saw live was Lacrimosa. That was a great evening for a Lacrimosa concert :) It was rainy and it was at an open-air arena-like venue. I was standing with a friend somewhere at the top of the arena stairs, where we were sheltered from the rain. When the rain stopped, a full moon showed up through the clouds and I felt like a bat who had been invited at a sophisticated party in a castle.

What is your favourite metal subgenre?
I think there are two of them: black metal and doom (especially funeral doom).
